General Information
Description of ServiceProvides emergency shelter in cold weather at the Comitis Crisis Center for single adults, families with children, and couples, without residency restrictions. LGBTQ and gender non-conforming individuals are welcome. Must be on a cold weather alert (call to verify alert status). Operates 24 hours/7 days a week when weather conditions are met. Also offers bus tokens, meals, and referrals to shelter participants.

Intake ProcedureCall to verify in Cold Weather Alert or walk in for assistance. No lottery will be held during Cold Weather Alert activation. Intake will begin at 4:30 p.m. for families and 5 p.m. for single individuals and couples.

- Birth certificates for minors
