Description of Service
Families who are accepted into this program can live at the National Home in a single family home for up to four years while working with a professional case worker to set goals and make plans for the future. Families also have access to educational, recreational and enrichment opportunities. Community resources and counseling referrals are provided as needed. Free state-certified daycare services are provided free of charge for children five and under.

Eligibility
The married or single parent or legal guardian applying for admission must have legal custody of at least one child under the age of 18. Eligibility to apply for admission stems from the child(ren) in the family. The child(ren) must either have:
- A parent or grandparent that is a VFW or Auxiliary member or is eligible for membership.
- A parent that is a veteran; honorably discharged or still serving in the National Guard or Reserves.
