General Information
Description of ServiceEnvironmental Health Specialist provide food borne illness prevention and control of communicable disease through inspections of restaurant, grocery and convenience stores, schools and daycare facilities.

Environmental Specialist also help prevent groundwater contamination through On-Site wastewater system installation, inspection and education. Specialist help to prevent zoonotic diseases such as Hantavirus, West Nile Virus and Plague through surveillance and public education.
