Description of Service
Provides a hotline for reporting suspected child abuse or neglect or parents wanting to make a report of "Beyond Control of Parent".
Services include assessment of the initial referral, assignment of an appropriate response time, and consultation with the family to determine the nature of the problem and do an initial case planning, and emergency placement services if the child is removed from the family by law enforcement.
Abuse may be physical, sexual, psychological, and emotional or neglect. If abuse is suspected call local law enforcement or call the child abuse hotline at (844) CO-4-KIDS (844)264-5437.
Child Protective Services also works with children who are beyond the control of their parent, have delinquent behavior and or have violated the law.
