Description of Service
Provides in-home lead testing for residents. Individuals can also bring their ceramic goods and children's toys to the health department for free analysis by appointment. Lead may cause a range of health effects, from behavioral problems and learning disabilities, to seizures and death.

Call for more information and to schedule an appointment, which is required before bringing samples to ensure that there is someone in the office to run the tests when you arrive.

- Common renovation activities like sanding, cutting, and demolition can create hazardous lead dust and chips by disturbing lead-based paint, which can be harmful to adults and children.
