General Information
Description of ServiceOffers education to adults to encourage people to ride bicycles and teach them to share roadways and trails safely through classes, at events, and from field education. Community members can request presentations for groups or businesses or can take publicly available classes on the following topics:
- Everyday Cycling – using a bike as an everyday form of transportation
- Cycling in Winter – cycling through the colder months
- Back on the Bike – teaches adults how to get back into cycling
- Women on a Roll – women’s specific class that teaches women how to make riding more comfortable, convenient and fun
- Adult Learn to Ride and Women’s Learn to Ride – teaches adults how to ride bicycles
- Smart Cycling – comprehensive education about rules of the road and bike handling skills for cyclists
- Bicycle Friendly Driver – motorist-focused class that teaches motorists how to share the road safely with people on bikes
