Description of ServiceProvides financial assistance to low-income persons when available and assistance may include:
- Emergency housing
- Food and pharmacy vouchers
- Personal hygiene items
- Medical supplies
- One-way Greyhound bus tickets for reuniting with family out-of-state (when available)

Grants are provided on a case-by-case basis.

- Photo ID
- Social Security card
- Proof of income
- Proof of Denver County residency (recent piece of mail)
Helpful TipsPeople who accept Greyhound tickets to move out-of-state will not be eligible to receive that specific service again, as it is intended to be once-in-a-lifetime assistance. They may still apply for other DHS benefits.
