Description of Service
Food assistance helps low-income individuals and families with the costs of purchasing food. This program is a supplement to a household's nutritional needs for the month.
Dial 2-1-1 to start a SNAP application over the telephone.
Visit the website, call, or walk in to set up an interview with a technician.
Must provide copies of:
- Photo ID
- Social Security numbers
- Proof of residency
- Proof of income
- Life insurance
- Living expenses
- Banking information
Work experience, job and job placement are provided in partnership with Larimer County Workforce Center.
Visit the website for self-screening of potential eligibility for health, nutrition, and cash benefits.
The MyCOBenefits app is available to individuals who receive SNAP, Colorado Works, and Adult Financial benefits and is available in both the Apple and Android app stores. The app allows users to access their benefit information, report changes, check EBT card balances and more.

Based on income, resources, and size of household. Undocumented immigrants are not eligible to receive food stamps. Their US born children are eligible for food stamps if the family meets all other eligibility criteria.
