Description of Service
Colorado Works (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families) provides financial and employment support to low-income families. Assistance and services provided may include child care, cash payments, transportation, counseling, help finding employment, and other services.
Call, walk in or visit the website for more information or to apply. Applications are accepted in person, by fax, by mail, or online. An interview is required before receiving benefits, an appointment may be needed.
Individuals must provide the following documentation:
- Proof of income earned/unearned
- Legal residency
Assistance is also available at the Fort Lupton Campus Office, located at 2950 9th St, Fort Lupton, CO 80621.
Individuals may drop off TANF Documents to the Southwest Weld (Del Camino) Office, located at 4209 County Rd 24 1/2, Longmont, CO 80504 on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Colorado PEAK provides a questionnaire that will give people answers about whether or not they may qualify for benefits for programs that provide food assistance, cash assistance, WIC supplemental nutrition benefits, and other types of assistance. Access Colorado PEAK at: https://coloradopeak.secure.force.com/ The MyCOBenefits app is available to individuals who receive SNAP, Colorado Works, and Adult Financial benefits and is available in both the Apple and Android app stores. The app allows users to access their benefit information, report changes, check EBT card balances and more.
