Description of Service
Colorado Works (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families) provides cash assistance and employment support to low-income families with children.

The MyCOBenefits app is available to individuals who receive SNAP, Colorado Works, and Adult Financial benefits and is available in both the Apple and Android app stores. The app allows users to access their benefit information, report changes, check EBT card balances and more.
To be eligible for TANF, applicants will be required to participate in a work-related activity; the required number of hours per week will be determined by the age of applicants' children and if applicants are in a two-parent household. Eligible work-related activities include (but must be approved):
- Full-time employment
- Part-time employment
- Community service
- Education programs
- Job skills training program, job readiness program, or job search.
Applicants who are a parent under the age of 18 must attend high school or a GED program and live with their parents or another approved adult.
