General Information
Description of ServiceColorado Works (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families) provides financial and employment support to low-income families. Assistance and services provided may include childcare, cash payments, transportation, counseling, help finding employment, and other services.

Intake ProcedureApply online at Colorado PEAK or walk in to a Human Services office in Aurora or Littleton to apply online at a free computer kiosk, or print an application and fax, mail or deliver it to either the Aurora or Littleton office.
Intake RequirementsRequires all applicants to seek employment and be involved in a work activity from the day of application. If approved, must participate in a work-related activity, such as:
- Approved education programs or job skills training
- Volunteer work or community service
- Job readiness and job search
- Full and part-time employment

Minor parents must attend high school or a GED program and live with parents or another approved adult. Childcare assistance and other supportive services are available when preparing or looking for a job.

Must complete face-to-face interview for the Individual Responsibility Contract.
